My 2 main strategies to get through Election week

This is a full on and full volume week. I want to share with you the 2 main tools I’m using from my Toolkits to move through the next several days with soothing, support, calm and connection.

There’s A LOT going on this week. It feels like a lot, because it is a lot. So you’re going to have lots of intense and maybe difficult thoughts and feelings (or maybe if you’re not going through it, other people you care about are feeling in it right now).

We want to learn how to NOT try to change that hard thing “out there” that’s going on, or change how we feel about it…

But instead, change the YOU that it experiencing it. 

Change the way you’re able to sit with it, move through it, change your capacity to be with yourself in it. And change they way you’re able to bring soothing and comfort to yourself during difficult times.

There’s 2 tools I’ll be using to do my own best with this:

  1. Sensory Grounding
  2. Deliberate Breathing with the Resetting Breath
